The Story Behind The Queen of Queens

***WARNING*** There are spoilers. If you don't want to ruin the suspense, stop reading. Now.

There was a moment in time when I was reading the Selection Series over and over. I can't say that I've ever been too in love with princess stories but I love a good romance, as you all know. Around that time I had a dream, as I often do, about a sad, lonely little princess and how quickly her life was falling apart. It later turned about to a dream of Raven Rick's bedtime story but you'll find out more about that later. Anyway, I took this dream and I asked myself, "what kind of story it could be?" I got pieces of ideas in jumbles and I just wrote them all down. All out of order and hardly making sense. But little by little it turned into what you're reading now. The sad princess turned into Ire and her abusive father became Queen Adele.
